Join Visage Paranormal for a ghost hunting event at St. Catherine’s Former Hospital, Doncaster.
With it’s foreboding facade, St. Catherine’s is a dark and sinister building built on the outskirts of Doncaster.
Built as a private residence for the Banks Family by the Leeds Lord Mayor George Banks originally as a holiday residence, it later became the full time main residence of the Banks Family.
Upon the death of the last member of the Banks family, St. Catherine’s was sold in 1928 and was used for the next nine decades as a variety of different purposes including a hospital for the insane, a sanitarium and, for a relatively short period, a school house.
With the history of the building you can imagine the pain and suffering that has occurred here, dark shadows have been seen and voices have been heard.
With 2 floors and a dark, sinister basement that used to house the operating theatre you always have the feeling of being watched. The staff refuse to be in this house alone.
What will we encounter when we investigate this fabulous, historic location?
There will be refreshments throughout the night including hot/cold drinks and snacks.
Are you brave enough to join us?
